How Manual Skin Packaging Machines Work
In a manual skin packaging machine, plastic film is pulled from a film roll mounted behind the machine and held in a clamping frame below the heating oven. During the cycle, the film is heated until pliable, then manually lowered over the product and skin board using a pull-down handle. A vacuum draws air down through the paper and forms the heated film tightly over the product, activating the adhesive on the board and securely sealing the package.
